Additional Informations: A special story revolves around this Rolex Daytona that was lost in South Africa for 15 years. This watch remained undiscovered for a duration of 15 years, exposed to the elements on an outdoor farm, without any protection. Years later, in 2021, cleanup operations were carried out, and while removing debris and rubble, this believed-to-be-lost Daytona was found. It is astonishing that after 15 years in outdoor, the watch was still so well-preserved. Although heavily soiled, the overall condition was very good. The movement was still fully functional, with only the dial acquiring this beautiful discoloration. A complete movement service was done of course, including a high-end polish.
The rediscovery of this watch is truly a remarkable example of the robustness and longevity of Rolex timepieces.
